The weekend’s fun starts on Friday afternoon. If you want to turn up on Friday afternoon, you may wish to check with the
hotel when your room will be available.

A check-in/information table will be located in the reception area for the duration of the weekend. An events schedule will be available from the information desk to let you know when and where things are happening.

  Welcome to the opening night of ROAR 2010! (Curry Night)

 
  12:00 - The hotel will open its doors to ROAR guests so that you can unpack, enjoy the facilities and refresh yourselves after your journey.

  18:30 - Everyone is invited to the ‘Garden Room’ for drinks. This is a chance to catch up with old friends and maybe make some new ones.

  19:30 - Its Curry night! The hotel is putting on a special meal for our first night. The Head Chief and his team are from Sri Lanka and are keen to show off their India cuisine. We have agreed a great rate of £11.95 per person for the meal which will include a desert. The Curry night can be booked directly with the Hotels reservation team when booking your room.

  10:00 - The exhibitors open their stalls for business.
The ‘ROAR Individual Challenges’ are open for those wishing to have a go. (See ‘The Challenge’ page).

GEO CASH treasure hunt.
A map with directions and geo references will be available from the information desk in the reception of the hotel. At each destination there will be a challenge that you will need to complete successfully to score maximum points. Artistic flare and ingenuity will be rewarded by extra points and a greater chance to win the ROAR Treasure Hunt Challenge trophy.

  11:00 - Photography lecture - (for those wishing to learn about car photography). Submissions for the best photo of ROAR must be submitted by Noon on Sunday. There will be a prize for the winner) - Details to follow!

  14:00 - Detailing Lecture: The Polishing Company will be giving a talk, demonstrating how to clean and detail a car and answering any of your questions. This will be great information for those wanting to prepare their cars for Sunday's Show Day!

  17:00 - The exhibitors close their doors for the day.

  18:30 - Everyone is invited to congregate in the Bar for an aperitif before sitting down for our ROAR Banquet.

A great evening is planned in the banquet room of the hotel. Proceedings start at 19:00 with a full three course banquet that will include a vegetarian option.

3 traditional starter options + a vegetarian option.
Main course: A Carvery with a choice of 3 meats + a vegetarian option
3 desert options
Coffee/tea

Once the main meals are finished a live band will kick off the evening's entertainment. When they take a break there will be series of light hearted challenges for those teams wishing to make a few extra bonus points for their team and charity!

Tickets for the evening banquet which include a live band can be purchased from the hotel at the great rate of £21.95 per head.

Sunday morning is your chance to show off you metal, (or should I say your GRP)

All categories are judged by Classic Car Magazine.

 
  09:00 - Preparation time for those showing their cars.
People who want their cars judged need to register their cars at the information desk.

  10:00 - The exhibitors open their stalls for business.
The ‘ROAR Individual Challenges’ are open for those wishing to have a go. (See ‘The Challenge’ page).

The judges will invite cars into the judging area that have qualified for final judging.
  11:30 - A drive out of TVR's - Owners take their cars out for a blast around the local roads.
- A suggested route/map will be available from the information desk.

  12:00 - Submission of photos for the TVR car photo competition.

  15:00 - THE AWARDS CEREMONY
- The final organised event of the weekend! Prizes will be handed out to the winners of the ROAR Individual Challenges. The following trophies will be awarded:
- Highest BHP
- Nosiest TVR
- 'Concourse' category winner
- 'Best modified' category winner
- 'Most used car' category winner
- Best Photo winner
- Best Shot
- Best lap time (on the simulator)

  16:00 - ROAR 2010 come to a close for another year.

- World Cup Football will be shown in the Bar for those of you who don‘t want to miss a moment of the World Cup!!

- Food will be available throughout the day from the hotel’s bar and the outdoor BBQ.

- If you want a treatment in the Spa, you will need to book ahead to avoid disappointment.
